When I was growing up, Magic School Bus was the show to watch! Every time the theme song came on as child I would get super excited! I wanted science to be just like how Ms. Frizzle taught. As future teachers we might not be able to jump on a magic school bus to teach science but we need to bring the excitement, the out of box approach, and hands on activities to our students. And as Ms. Frizzle always "Lets get MESSY!!!"
OK, but please don't wear the dresses Ms. Frizzle did! Her taste in fashion was suspect. :) But I did enjoy the "anything's possible" thrust of the show and some imagination will help us all be good teachers.
ReplyDeleteJessica, I love Ms. Frizzle. Bonnie at the D.C. refers to herself at Ms. Frizzle- usually at the end of the day when she's had 200+ elementary students.

I love her earrings and attire too it fit every lesson she taught! She must have had a massive wardrobe! :)
